WE INVITE DOCTORAL STUDENTS FOR DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAMS

The course program reveals the philosophy of an innovative technological approach to managing business structures, non-profit organizations and government organizations in the digital economy. The concepts, models and technologies of modern and promising digital ecosystems are considered. Methods and tools for interpreting big data are studied, with an emphasis on key performance factors, the outcomes of various options for management decisions are modeled, and the results of decision-making are tracked - from operational to strategic. The staffing of the digital economy management system, regulatory decisions, and the competencies of the members of the digital transformation management team are considered. We consider the specifics of digital strategies at all stages of creating products or services (value chains) with constantly changing external factors. We study industry-specific technological solutions and management tools that have proven their practical effectiveness and create new trends in the digital economy. We consider the hierarchy of organizational competencies for digital transformation leaders and the conditions for their application for implementation in various industry management strategies: retail, resource extraction, telecommunications, etc. Models of digital transformation and architecture of technological digital solutions are considered in detail.

How should innovations be managed so that they take place in your company, without dying on the numerous pages of “beautiful” business plans and then not contributing to the rapid flourishing of your competitors' business? The most important issues for any top manager and business owner are cost optimization and ensuring the growth of the company or a specific business area. Cost optimization, as a rule, begins with a reduction in the number of personnel, the freezing of promising and strategic projects, the sale of non-core assets, and can then go in the direction of cutting salaries and bonuses for employees, as well as reducing budgets for marketing and advertising.

How to achieve sustainable enterprise growth in an ever-changing business environment? Some of the trends that will change business are already visible. The success of the company in the near future will be measured not only by money. To stay in the game, businesses will need to redefine their corporate goals, redefine their role for the world around them. The new definition of “growth” includes fundamentally different indicators: indicators of personal development (training, happiness and longevity), the health of workers and the reduction of harmful environmental impacts. The world is becoming cashless. Soon, personal data will be embedded in payment instruments. Businesses need to expand their payment options and build products to address issues of privacy, transparency and integrity. Consumption patterns are also changing. People want more flexibility and freedom in their choice of purchases and services, and they want their purchases to reflect the social, environmental and political causes they support. Businesses need to radically change their business models and adapt them to life-centric design. Until now, a user-centric approach has separated people from ecosystems. Now businesses need to start looking at people as part of a larger ecosystem.
